AOWR surveyed each terminal and reviewed the frequency of both preventative and reactive maintenance. General weight guidelines were established for standardized scrap metal parts, and a transparent and a manageable metal recycling program was implemented.
The Results:
This customer receives a monthly itemized rebate for all the prior month's purchased scrap metal. Combined with the cost reduction from AOWR's bid and right size/streaming, more than 30% saving have been achieved.
